After pouring through the inter-web it seems to be 40” now to waterline. Minn Kota has quite a range on their shaft length chart and the 54” seems like it would work. Does anyone have a 54” on an 1800 or 1801?

Anyone know the bow to waterline measurement on an 1800? I have an opportunity to get a great deal on a 54” shaft trolling motor, I will only be using it inshore. I know the 60” is preferred. Thanks. Zach

Thanks for the pic. My other issue is I have the bow rail still on, am thinking of just cutting out the forward V part of the rail and seeing if I can make it work. I do like the rail when out with the kids…

Did you remove your port side bow cleat? I can’t quite tell from your photos. I have the same hull and plan on mounting a trolling motor this off season but was hoping not to move the cleats.

Looking for recommendations on what cleaning to use on my deck? Despite soaping and scrubbing after all use, I’ve found the textured deck on the 1800 stains really easily. thanks, Zach

Today I replaced all the bunk bolts and moved the bunks outboard of the strakes, so 42” apart. Also added fish be foot side bunks…not sure if they’ll be useful or not.

Any recommendations on setting up a bunk trailer (the roller trailer fell through) for an 1800? Picked trailer up today and picking up boat on Tuesday. Based off the scematics I was able to set up the eye bolt to transom distance but not sure where to set the bunk width. The strakes are 40"...

Wondering if anyone could share some pictures and insight on their 1801 console set ups. I will be picking up my new to me 1800 next week and it comes with zero electronics, so will need to mount my Simrad GO7 and my VHF and just looking for best placement in dead.
