Picked up my "classic" Parker Sou'wester about 5 years ago for $5000. It had a 94 Johnson 175, Garmin 740s, and hydraulic steering. Oh, and a pretty big mural on the side (took that off first weekend I bought it). Fished it hard for 2 years before doing anything major to it. First big purchase was a used 36v ulterra( still using it, lol). Then I bought a new leftover 2018 Yamaha 150 before the pandemic. I propped it with a new yamaha 15p sds prop (42 mph top speed). Besides for the actual "hanging" of the motor, everything was done by me. Rigged it, rewired everything (they were crispy), Yamaha 6yc gauge, Garmin 94sv plus with gt51 ducer (got it on super sale). Custom leaning post, put the cooler seat up front for more storage. 13" stainless steering wheel, led bow lights, led spreader lights. Custom low profile bow rail. New rule 2000 gph bilge pump. Kept the old one as back up with alligator clips on it just in case. Stripped and sanded all bottom paint off (that was fun). She's close to where I want it to be, only thing left is a new t-top and I'll be set. Still rockin the original fuel tank, so that'll probably be something else to do in the near future.

All the time and money I've put into it has been well worth it, I love my Parker!
