Is that a birdsail 30” leaning post?

@offduty5 we must know what leaning post that is =) ( Its a beauty- like the rest of the boat!) Does not look like any Birdsall designs I have seen?

Thanks for the comments…. Elevation marine located in Florida…. Owner is an awesome guy to deal with… very happy with the way it was built… so much better then the original old bench seat that it came with….customizing boat more this spring… already in the process … will post when finished… mean while here is contact information….

After also seeing Offduty5's leaning post last year, I took the plunge last fall and got one for myself. It was a great decision. I love the design, the craftmanship is excellent and they did a slight modification for me at no extra cost. I've got it secured temporarily so I could make sure the location fits me but will permanently locate it this spring. I'm really thrilled with it! I have an idea to make lure storage in the tray and will post some pics if if works as planned.

Any chance the slight modifications was to make it more narrow by 2”? So 28” wide instead of 30”? I have a 17’ Parker and 28” wide is the right fit.

I had them re-position, or tilt the rod holders upward more. I don't have a T-top so I wanted more room to walk around the back without getting tangled up with a stored rod.

Smart move on the rod holder angle. I have seen to acute of an angle destroy the usable space in the stern of a boat.

Efx …. Elevation marine will pretty much modify anything… owner is very professional and will talk to you on the phone about the build… I would definitely give him a call…

I plan on specking out a semi custom boat in a few years when I retire from the fire department… probably a Stuart boat works out of Stuart Florida… I will definitely have elevation marine build a t top and leaning post for that boat…give them a call … you will be happy with it.. good luck
