Purchased a 2320 from one of the forum members on the site two weeks ago and wondering which double axle trailer other 2320 owners have. It came with a triple axle 10Klb trailer which will make it interesting dragging it around at my ramp.

I’m inclined to go bigger like a 6000lb+ just because I like security and I plan on trailering from MD to NJ a little and want a new trailer. Searching old threads here most say go bigger. Also, anyone using rollers or the poly slides on top of or instead of bunks? Our ramp is shallow at times.

By the time I get the triple axle to where I feel good taking her long distances it makes sense to get a new one.
Thanks

I had a custom trailer built for my new 2320. I went w (2) 5,000 axles and heavy duty aluminum ibeam construction.
Dealership tried to sell me a 7000 trailer. With fuel, gear and ice my calculations put me right around 7k.
I feel better w the 10k, but like you a triple axle is not very nimble.
IF you have a new one built, I’d say a double axle 10k is ideal.

What he said. :) FYI My '95 2530.. single 300 Suzzy....Crows nest on top of hard top w/controls .full of fuel....with the ground tackle on board and various other do -dads weighed in at 7600lbs. The tri-axle trailer weighed 1500lbs....It was for a 30ft boat. It was the perfect length to get a full frame trailer ...IE: bunks not cantlivered past rear crossmember. I was 52ft long on the total rig.....'15 F150 Supercab.....Not Crewcab and has a 6 1/2ft box. Boat and trailer weighed in @ 9100lbs.

I ordered my 10,200lb tandem trailer like you guys advised on April 28th, 2021. I just picked it up yesterday.

I don't get a lot of time to post on line here but out of curiosity does anyone have good inside measurements on their 2320 bunk settings? I'm going to try to switch trailers tonight. The boat's sitting on a borrowed trailer at the moment and it's set for a shamrock.

Thanks

I also ordered a motor March 23rd, 2021......still not here.

Take a look at pacific trailers.

If you space your inside bunk to inside bunk at 44" you'll be dead nutz for easy loading. That is where I set my 2320 bunks on the trailer and the boathouse lift. It's ideal spacing.

Thanks snydgoose, sorry for the late reply, took my boat down to Crisfield last month for a tank and deck on the new trailer set at 44”. Motor finally showed up too.
