Finally got out today ! Just filled up with 200 gal of fuel , 15 gal of fresh water , gear , & 2 people. I will say I'm impressed with the performance. I can't believe how much faster and how much nicer it rides compared to my 09 2520sl.

4600 rpm , 34 mph, 13.96 gal per hour , 1.9 mpg.
5500 rpm , 44 mph seemed to be WOT

You can just tell this boat weighs more, rides awesome, and really has impressive #s considering my 09 had 250 hp but weighed a lot less & was a MV hull. My 09 cruised at about 28 mph @ 4600.

I actually went searching for rough water !!!

If a 6,000 max RPM motor you should have turned at least 5700 RPMS ... higher is better.

Great motor!! I just bought a 2014 2320 with the 300 couldn't be happier. Good luck !

How is the boat doing. I was looking at same set up. What was price on boat alone? I decided to look for used. Does the boat roll bad at drift? Thanks T

Interesting comments. I have a 300 hp on my 25 pilot hse. Never tried running WOT on my 2012 vessel. If my nerves allow I will try running WOT. Did not know my boat is that fast. Thanks

Is that speed gps? think mines needs a little tweaking... 2014 im olny getting 5300rpm's 39 mph. going to check motor height next time out.

Well then quess what ... without running it there, YOU HAVE NO IDEA if your boat is wearing the right prop! Check out the 'sticky' post on checking the prop pitch AND motoe height as listed in the Power forum.
