Good info, there's no lack of non skid on this boat.
Since there is so much non skid, it's a "rule" no black soles..
I've always been a fan of 3m compounds/wax's but certainly not against woody wax just never used it.
I was 1st mate on a 42' Bert for almost a decade and we never waxed the non skid since it seemed to make it slippery. Is woody's wax not slippery? I guess it can't get any more slippery then any other part of the boat where there's no non skid. I was in my late teens into mid 20's when I worked the cockpit so my memory may not be the best now that I'm almost 40.

Woody wax when applied to a wet surface, then let dry and wiped down leaves a wax that isn’t slippery. It saves my 24 year old non skid from staining.

I'll take some pics tomorrow from under the gunnels. The washers used on 4 of the rod holders are maybe the size of a dime. Screws only on 2 rod holders, hard to describe but the pics will show what I'm talking about. It's ugly and looks like it was definetly a pleasure boater or new guy that installed all these rod holders.

I just picked up my 21 SE last week. Now I feel like I should look at my rod holders too.

At least it looks like the factory installed holders had the wood covered with resin....but those washers were way undersized.

I just looked at mine tonight and I see the same small washers.

Well she handles a decent '3-5 spaced out swell much better than the tight 2-4's. Same speed (18-22ish) basically just a little faster on way out. Bow down was super wet on way home had to turn down sea for a few miles. Drier w/ just a touch of tabs and ride wasn't much different. Yami ran awesome averaged 5.5-6 gph. Was at 4.5 engine hours so I gave it to her for 20 seconds at 4600 rpms, 36mph w/ no tabs/trim.
Tough conditions w/ the 15* temp drop but still managed 2 keeper flounder at 19 and 22"s. Bay was too weedy to fish so that made the decision easy to head out front. Nice ride out in light winds and I'm up to 5 hours on yami
