Forgive me for not knowing the what these hard boxes are called. I'm noticing from photos, and the boat I just bought, the absence of the suspended boxes from the T-Top.
Must be a reason, or was it an option from Parker that few people chose?

Thanks!

Its generally called and electronics box. I would think its an option. I know when I got my custom T-Top for my 1801 it was a $500 option. Rick

You can put me in the dislike category.

In my experience they deflect air downwards over the wind screen blowing off you hat. Wind kind of goes over the top of the windscreen minus the E box. YMMV

Typically.....Tall people don't like them.....I do like them.
It's the perfect spot for the VHF radio to put the speaker at ear level...or close enough...It's also where I like to put the AM/FM radio.....It clears up the console for Bigger screen electronic's.

Now as to rigging and going thru the alum tubing......Forget that PITA stuff.

I have switched a lot over to a White 2in rigging hose....Coming out of the bottom forward corner of the box and into the forward RH corner of the console top.
It's out of the way, looks neat and is Super easy to rig and derig.
