Spoke to the surveyor today about the 1997 2520 I'm hoping to buy. 350 hours on the engine. 6 years of maintenance receipts. The hull was solid and no rot found. He said the engine ran smooth and operated at normal temps. He did say that the boat stalled when he backed the throttle down from cruising speeds. He suspects the fuel pump but would love to hear your opinion. The fuel pump was replaced about 4 years ago or 100 hours ago. Also, here are a few pics of the outdrive. Love to hear if this corrosion in normal or excessive.

My biggest concern on that hull would be the fuel tank and system: Is it original to 1997? a 24 year old fuel tank is suspect for leaking and at the end of it's usable life. If the tank hasn't been replaced yet, it will need that ....sooner than later.
