automotive wiper arms?

Since wiper arms are typically made of galvanized or stainless, wouldn't we be able to use any automative wiper arms with our boats? This would allow us to use off the shelf blades. Has anyone done this?

Off the shelf blades for Jeeps will work. If I recall they're 11" or 12".

Agree on the Rain X. I've been using it on the boats, trucks, cars and shower doors, every since they invented it.
