Be careful
Lots of ventilation
PPE Etc
the EPOXY you are using can be an allergic sensitizer
Using solvent to clean your hands and skin can drive the resin in
once it is FULLY CURED most versions are inert and food safe

How are you measuring ? Pumps ?
you can use a graduated stick

Im doing the whole job outside under a pop-up awning, lots of ventilation.
For mixing measurements so far Im using west system pumps. I have two gallons of that epoxy and one gallon from The Epoxy Store.
I think it has a different mix ratio so Ill measure it in cups. I bought some graduated mixing cups.

Today we installed the last two stringers, four total. They will have three layers of 10oz cloth tabbing. I may put down on top of that a three inch wide strip of 1708 just for good measure. The cotton flox peanut butter under the stringers isnt as thick as original and Im hoping that isnt a problem.
I still have lots of tabbing to do before the final complete lamination with either 6oz or 10oz cloth.
Im getting excited!!! I cant wait to start cutting deck panels.

Well the decks are glued and screwed and the first layer of 10 oz is complete. I tabbed the deck to the sides with 1708. Next Ill run the final layer of 10oz cloth up about two thirds as high as I did the 1708 and across the entire deck. The new gas tank was installed using the Warthog method. Whoa be unto whoever has to remove it. Im thinking on moving everything mounted on the deck (console, seats and bait tank) about 18" forward. Ill cut the rigging hole once I figure out exactly where I need it. The weather has cooled a bit so Im not sure when Ill do the final layer.
Any suggestions on deck paint would be appreciated. I need something that will stick well to epoxy. Im thinking Rust-olium topside or Tuff Coat.
