Bull red fishing with my children Parker 2320: Old Glory

My wife had to work yesterday, so I loaded my three children ( 3, 5, 7), my sons best friend (7) and my Co-pilot, Nemo, into the 2320, packed some gear then headed up river. We dropped 1/2 crabs and got bent over. The boys fought this fish back and forth for 5-6 minutes, then finally brought her over the washboard. Here a couple pictures from our afternoon out in the St. Johns River, Jacksonville, Florida on "Old Glory".

In the 1980's there was a pre-internet TV show called Southern Sportsman with Franc White, based out of Greenville NC. His well-known 'catch-phrase' was "Take A Kid Fishing".... your post here tells us why 'take a kid fishing' is such a great idea! Look at the smiles on these kids faces!...

A perfect example of why you buy a Parker. It looks like a great day on the water. Life long memories being made and the kids could not be more excited to catch a monster fish. The Sport Cabin makes all the difference in the world. I went from a Robalo CC to a Parker 2320 SLD when my kids were the same ages as yours. My older boys are now both our of college and our youngest is 15 years old. We run a 2520 XLD now as we needed more boat to accommodate a larger family, diving and fishing gear.
