big bass just out of chatham. if you want big bass - trailer over.
they haven’t showed up yet - but this time last year there was a great school tuna bite just outside chatham.
out of rock harbour - in close - 30’ ish - bsb, scup.
head out to billingsgate for blues and some bass underneath.
should be bonito around there too but they’ve been shy to show so far this year.
henri may have been enuf to shake things up and everything has changed fishing wise. won’t know til we get back out. these should be pretty reliable areas/ species this time of year in general.
