Drain plug stuck, help

I would have broken the extractor off, if a pipe wrench wouldn't take it out.

Were only taking a $14 item for new.

It also appears that some folks Still do not have good working knowledge of 3M's 5200 & 4200.....There is also 4200 Fast.

We all know bronze is soft. A pipe wrench teeth easily eat away at a stubborn plug. An extractor isn't going to break off in the bronze, it'll just keep chewing it up. I haven't had that happen yet but luckily since that techs been gone we haven't run into the problem this year during haul out season up here. I've also found if the plugs in good shape a 12 point socket fits nicely and will usaully get the job done.
