Finally got a Parker!

Greetings,
After years of searching I found a 1998 Parker 1800 in excellent shape and at the right price! Boat and motor have seen very little use and feels right out of a late 90's show room! Very happy with the performance of the engine which is a Yamaha 2 stroke 130, she runs great. I will be using her to fly fish for stripers up here on the North Shore of Massachusetts mostly in Plum Island Sound (though there's no fish there ever...definitely don't go there, the fishing is horrible!! ).

Excited to have found this forum as it seems to be an excellent resource...and I need some serious trailer advice! (will post question in the trailer thread).

Hi Zach, welcome to ClassicParker, and congratulations on your new-to-you Parker! We all say, 'post some pictures! Love to see Parker boat pictures!
I too felt very lucky when I stumbled across this forum a few years ago... I have never experienced a more helpful group of like-minded, and amazingly talented 'boat-folks' in my life...
By the way, (and CP folks correct me if I'm wrong), I believe the ClassicParker founder, Dale. was out of MA.

Looks great for a 23 year old. So rare to find one unmolested without any botched speaker holes and such.

welcome aboard… I have a 1994 1800… awesome little boat… been through some bad weather with her… no fault of mine… weather forecasters suck… however good luck… here is pictures of mine… 2nd owner and the guy before me took awesome care of it like I do…added a lot on it this year..
