I'm replacing my old Furuno radar with a Simrad Halo 20+. Since I will no longer need the Furuno MFD, I'm replacing it with a Simrad NSX 7" that will fit flush in the dash in its place. Problem is, the Furuno's going to leave a bigger hole than the NSX 7 is going to fill. First thought is mount a sheet of starboard to the dash to cover the old hole but wanted to post and see if any of you have ideas for other options to make the new install look good. Thanks in advance!

I use 1/8in 5052 alum..... In the end it gets epoxy Primed , Base coat Silver and High Impact Clear.
