New Helm Cover

Just picked up boat today from the canvas shop.

I will be taking the plastic off the sides and back in the summer and keep the front plastic on the boat, just in case of rain.

Chesapeake Canvas in White Marsh. I think they did a descent job.

Nice.

I went with a full cover to keep the UV off of the topsides. The sun does more damage than about anything, except running into rocks.

The full cover is expensive, and a hassle to take off and put back on, but it beats using 3M rubbing compound on the gelcoat every couple of years. Topsides still look like the day she came from Tri-State Marine.
