Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
Just put a deposit on a 98 18' Parker.
Figured I'd join to learn more about this boat.
It's my first boat. Looked at Mako's, Grady's, and Easterns. Finally settled on the Parker. Hope I made the right choice.

Regards,
Joel

Joel...

It's obvious to all of us here that you made TWO excellent choices....first to buy the Parker,, second to join ClassicParker 8)

Welcome Aboard. You can spend the winter combing through the forums for ideas for next spring!

I have 3 boats and a kayak, I would have a 18' Parker if I could hide it from my wife.

Congratulations on a very nice first boat !

Welcome aboard Joel!

Parkers are no-nonsense sea-worthy and customizeable boats. You just can't go wrong, unless you are underpowered.

Spend time looking at the informative posts you will find here, especially under projects. The ingenuity and know-how of the membership will impress you, and the fact that the artists here have chosen Parker as their canvas will make you feel that you are buying the right boat.

I'll call you later today.

Sal
