Opening Weekend Chesapeake

Didn't fish opening day with the forecast they were calling for, would have not been pleasant for my wife and two daughters. My daughter goes to college and only had this weekend availbale so she drove up from Salisbury University on Sunday. She got to the boat around noon. We only caught one fish 38", from what I hear it was a tough weekend for everyone catching. Hopefully things pick up.

I didn't fish opening day due to the forecast, and the fact I'm still doing spring projects.

Nice job!! I have a picture on my desk at work of my Daughter holding her first trophy Rockfish, As they say "Priceless" as I'm sure you will agree. . From what I am hearing you are one of the lucky few. I cancelled my trip for Saturday morning. then got bummed when the wind blew all the water out and I could not get my boat off the lift for the remainder of the weekend, but that's life.
