Outrigger question

I have a 2300 Center Console with the factory hard top, which is made of cored fiberglass. I want to add a pair of outriggers, TACO brand, and was wondering if there anybody out there who has outriggers attached to their T-top -Parkers factory T-top. I would like to know if it would support outriggers with out adding an aluminum support bracket across the back of the t-top. Most outrigger compamies supply a small support bracket for hard top installs.

I ended up getting backing plates welded onto the frame. You definitely want to provide some type of backing support.

i dont know about T-tops, but my buddy has Tacos installed on the edge of his pilothouse roof (also a Parker) outside the door, on a strip thats only a couple inches wide, and he's had no problem with them
