Well, after using Collenite Fleetwax today, I found out it works on the SS rails really well and really fast. It also significantly brightened up the downeast traditional buff-colored tan trim I paint around the rubrail.

Collenite Fleetwax ... awesome stuff ... just DO NOT let it dry on the hull :shock: !

Both photos show "before" on the left ... and "after" on the right.

I used to do that ... may not need to now. I cannot believe how easy the stains came off the rail using the applicator cloth that was covered from the waxing job.

But maybe my tarnish was only light staining, as I had done the rails in the Spring with BF topped by Woody Wax.
