Have any of you 25' sport cabin owners done a bow pulpit in teak?

I'm considering building one, and I'd love to hear from anyone else who might have undertaken a similar project.

Not teak, but mahogany ... 1/3rd the price! When done with my Cetol method, you can't tell its not teak. Will have to add more details later, but ... I kept the model I made this from and it is the same exact size as the OEM Parker pulpit.

Not Teak, but just finished the welding today. It will be flashed off with a sandblaster to etch the alum. better, then primed and painted.
