Got a bronze Groco nipple online. Should have all the pieces to the puzzle at this point.
Hoping to wrap it up this weekend. Stay tuned!!

Feeling super accomplished after yesterday. Hole saw, skill saw, and jig saw all took bites out of the boat and everything went according to plan. Can't thank everyone enough for all of the input along the way.

Getting close to being done on this entire boat project. I'll have to post a "progress-thread" at some point.

Have a great day!!

It’s actually some material a buddy gave me who owns a bunch of restaurants. Think it was a door to a bathroom stall. 1” plastic composite. I used it for extra
Backing on the swivel rod holders as well for Tuna rods.
Used 4200 on the exterior of the hull/pick up, as well as, in the bilge on the bottom of the backing plate.

went a step further today and made some easy access for the hoses.

Figure I’ll run hoses out of the hatch and put a rubber mat over them in deck as to not trip on them.

Thinking over the winter may find a way to plum them below deck. But for now just doing what I can to get ready for the season.
Fish should be here next week!!

Tunagi—Was able to run the new livewell/washdown pump this weekend. Both worked great. The new washdown is way better than the old one. I did try running both at once. When using the washdown it decreased the livewell flow minimally.

Well done. Love the pic of the hose test!
I ended up just doing a livewell pump for now. I keep my boat on the trailer so she always gets a nice freshwater bath after each trip.

Usually.......The discharge hose from the pump is run to a bulkhead fitting up higher and out of the way , but accessible under the washboard. Then a hose attached to the Livewell and has a garden hose fitting on it screws into the bulkhead fitting.
