I plan to return next weekend, mount the batteries, charger, circuit breaker, trolling motor plug, and the trolling motor (was able to negotiate that kitchen pass by coming back home today).
I won’t be able to get it on the water and use when I finish it as I’m fishing in two billfish tournaments the next two weekends. Will post more photos as it progresses

Your not going to like that TM plug where that tape is....Things will be a pain.

Install it on that vertical bulkhead aft of the anchor locker.

Battery, circuit breaker & onboard charger installed today. Still have some wire management to take care of tomorrow.

Then had to unbox the beast. That 36v is heavy. I was very impressed with how well the motor was packaged

I used 3/8” aluminum as my mounting plate & 1/2” starboard as the backing plate. I used 1/4” x #20 solid stainless screws with stainless fender washers, stainless lock washers, and stainless stop nuts. I placed the screws approx 4” apart. I filled each hole with 4200 as I placed the screws through the plate.

I took Warthog5’s advice and located the trolling motor plug on the vertical wall in the anchor locker. It’s completely out of the way when connected & the anchor in the locker.

The screws that came with the trolling motor for the mount were too short. I ended up having to use 4” screws. After getting the correct screws the final mount wasn’t bad at all.

The final step for today was getting the new led nav lights installed. There were very simple. Just connect the ground & lead, put 4200 around the housing, then screw on the cover plate. I was amazed how bright they were even in the daytime.

I hear you about the anchoring pain... I'm debating getting the 50A or maybe 100A. I keep my boat remote and don't have access to AC so I would need to take the batteries home for a recharge...

Did you only have access thru the anchor locker when you mounted the bracket? I have a 23se and I have no idea how to reach in to get all the bolts secure..

Most lithium battery companies offer 75amp batteries. I have 3 - 75 amp lithiums powering a 36v Minnkota...have used it up to 7 hours so far with no loss of power. So there is a choice falling between 50 and 100 amps.

I assume you have the round screw out access port like the one in the attached picture?
I initially thought I would access most of the nuts for the screws from the anchor locker but found out quickly I was wrong, the access to the anchor locker is deep & short. I was able to get to 75% of them through the round access port.

rseate, I do not have any access port like the one in the pic. Just nav light and anchor cleat. I had seen your pic in the thread and wondered if you had cut that in. I have never seen that on the bow of a parker. Do you think you could have installed the plate without the access hole?

inshore, I have seen the 60-75A batteries. If I go bigger than 50A I'll just go to 100A for a few dollars more than the 65-75. It's like the wild west out there in Lithium battery world.

It was a factory installed port. Could I have installed without it, probably, but I darn shouldn’t want to try.

Seems I don't have a choice...I'll let you know how it goes....or doesn't
