The Parker 25's may seem like they have a 10' beam, (they're wider than some others in this class) but for the sake of accuracy, they are not 10' beams, and certainly not where we dance in the cockpit! ☺
Parker 25's are 9'6" maximum beam, measured slightly forward of 'midship'... The beam tapers off to about 8' 10" at the stern, (including rub-rail).
The 'coaming' to 'coaming', 'usable' cockpit beam at the stern is 7' 2.5". And a bit less than that if you have coaming pads....
I'm not being nit-picky here; just trying to help our site provide accurate measurements.
