    How accurate is NADA pricing

Bought our brand new 2005 in 2007 (2520SC) for about $52k, single F225. FYI...... Sounds like he is a bit high...... maybe not just on his price......

Forgot to mention I have it hooked to our 3210.

    Garmin gmr18

I have the GMR18 on our boat. Get the wedge. I'll be retrofitting it this winter. On plane you need the wedge to get a reliable forward picture. If I slow down to about 20mph and plow with my tabs down the picture is great. Tabs up it will lose some targets on every second to fourth...

New 2530 or a used 2830......need your poll

Forgive me for being retarded, but you are making it sound like the 28' will cost you less, is that right? If so, 28', no question about it. The cost of fuel on the 28 vs. a 25 with twins will not be enough to give a second thought to.

    Missing Parker 34

Jeezus, why don't they steal a more unique, low production, sitck-out-like-a-sore-thumb boat instead??? O, wait..... They won't be able to sell it and they also will barely be able to use it, any parker enthusiast will see that thing a mile away. Better check the Bahamas and Bermuda...

drift fishing in mv vs dv

Also a lot of people don't realise this but the outboard position makes a big difference in your drift. Our 2520 usually drifts straight as mentioned, but sometimes will turn 45 degrees or so to the drift depending on wind. The lower unit makes an effective rudder and by turning the motor...

response from noaa...very high tides...the whole east coast

For a week or 2 by me, it seemed like there were 2 tides whenever I looked, high and extra high. Water has been going out a bit more lately. I agree, we had a ton of easterly winds which helped hold the water in the bays, at least near us.

    Bad boat names

Named my first baylier 1950 bowrider "Stiff Nibbles" with a fish hook next to the words. :)

    Stuck Hatch

Mine is stuck real good every spring, I just force it open. I also understand it's good to spray the gasket with wd40 or something similar if you plan on leaving it closed (like over the winter) for a long time. Yours is probably just stuck extra good since it's been closed so long...

    8 plait chain splice?????

Yeah I could never splice looking at the instructions in books. Then way back in the day working in boat u/s as a teenager a guy showed me how to do a 3 line splice and watching him it was like duh, that's easy. The squiggly arrows do nothing for me......

2000 Parker 2520 Custom Fly Bridge Controls

I got news for you, that voyager-2 is $75,999 on sale..... The FLIR Navigator is between $7k and $9k. That video of the voyager 2 in action with the gyroscope stabilised images, etc, is really sice though, but I didn't pay $75k for the entire boat. Or my last 2 boats put together for that...
