more room in the cockpit. helms are the same on a 2120 and 2320. mines a 2005 with a cut transom. i launch and retrieve it by myself all the time. i liked the livewell on the bracket models but the engine got in the way when cobia fishing off of my friends.
so far no problems at all wih the windlass. yes once in a while it will hang at the chain/rode splice but i just let it down a few feet and back up. i probably didnt need 400' of rode but would like to have it for wreck fishing offshore. i was worried about the chain slapping the pulpit but have...
Water in the transom is bad but if the transom shows no signs of weakening you are ok for the time. I had an 88 Steiger that had a wet transom when I got it and ran it for 8 years and never showed signs it was weak. Granted it was a work boat with little resale value. You will eventually have to...
Hello all
I'm looking for a swim platform and ladder set up and need suggestions. I have a 2004 2320 with a notched transom and factory installed Lenovo trim tabs. I need one that will mount over the tabs and have a retractable/ fold up ladder. Really not interested in a removable dive ladder...
Congrats on your new boat. The pro fish 700 is a free fall unit. I installed mine myself for 1500.00 including 400' of 8 plait, 25' chain. 40' 6awg wire. The hardest part was drilling the 3" hole thru the bow. Use the search field and look up windlass and my user name and the post will come up...
Never had to make a claim so can't help there. Mooring line on mine broke and the boat got into the dock. Tore the dock up but nothing on the boat that scotch brite didn't take out. Btw did you see someone on Marlboro Point got a new 2320. Haven't actually seen them use it yet.
i ask this out of curiosity more than anything. my father has a 23' Parker set up for commercial crabbing. three years ago some POS stole the boat from the dock. we found it the next day sans motor and electronics floating in the potomac. whoever stole the motor decided to try and sink the boat...
i got the plastic standoffs from a local hardware store. lowes and home depot have them . they come in 1", 1/2", 1/4" sizes and i used 1 1/4". the separate switch would be a good idea i just trip the breaker when not in use and the anchor chain is secured with a clip and safety rope on the bow...
