1801 & Minn Kota Riptide Terrova Quest

Location on a 2100 DVCC...same general area as I placed on my 1801 (just don't have a pic)

Fueling trouble? Check this out, may help.

Always use that method. Of not you are pushing the fuel against the inside bend of the fill line...pressure will build and shut off the nozzle.

Have you considered a Shuttleslide mount? High quality product and it allows you to mount everything inboard of the gunwale including the foot of the motor so it is not hanging out wating to be damaged while docking or launching. But of course it would add about $500 or $600 to the overall...

My arm still hurts from reaching to tighten the bolts and holding up the backing plate under the deck. And that was 3 years ago! Good luck...be awaiting the outcome.

Wow that is a big quick release bracket. I currently have a terrova 72inch 36 volt on my 2100 DVCC. Plan was to switch to the new Instinct but I chickened out after seeing the mount size at the AC Boat show. Would love to have the auto deploy / stow feature but not sure that size mount would...

    Is this a 23 se or 23 dv ?

Agree at some point Parker rebalanced their boats and moved the fuel tanks forward to negate the ass heaviness. Also epoxy coated their fuel tanks that will probably add 5 to 10 years of life to the tanks. Sometimes progress is good!

    New to me 1801

Had it out the BI only a few times. Did not have trim tabs....seemed like using the engine trim was sufficient. Mostly went out of the Absecon Inlet.... much more predictable in the afternoon coming back in as compared to the BI. Near shore is no problem on nice days. Enjoy!

    New to me 1801

Nice boat! I had a 2018 1801...very versatile little big boat. One shortcoming of most Parkers is storage. I added some Plano tackle tray holders under the gunwales fastened to the toe kicks. Check out Ocean Breezes or Deep Blue Marine for the holders. Both make great products and at a much...

    Is this a 23 se or 23 dv ?

Looks like DV with the two strakes. Great hull...much better riding and seaworthy than the SE. The only thing the SE performs better is in skinny water other than that DV wins all other categories.

2019 1801C and my transom is separating from the hull.

Agree. Construction changes were not made until late 2022 and only on a few models. The intro of the 22 and 24 CC models was the real change. One must remember that all the complaints about rusting SS materials happened during the Parker ownership time.

Why is that engine foot so funky looking...is that a jet drive?

Bow Floor Storage 21SE - Anyone done it?

Those Frigid Rigid boxes are more than nice but hard to justify the cost unless you are running like a 36 Contender or something....lol

Bow Floor Storage 21SE - Anyone done it?

Exactly...drill a small hole and use a camera or add a pie plate. Then you will know what your getting into

What are the major differences between the 1801 and 18SE? Had a 2018 1801....good, roomy, durable boat. If you do a search you will find some of the modifications made to my 1801. Good Luck with the new boat! Also from South Jersey.

2310 house battery relocation, 70lb AGM, reinforce hull?

Assuming the boat is powered by Yamaha...it will not support charging lithiums. At least according to Yamaha's manual. You would think the newer models would be compatible but apparently not.
