    2007 Parker 2520 XL H.P.

I was one of the owners of a 2520xl with the 225hp from factory. 2005 model. Yes it had 1100 hrs on it when replaced with no corrosion issues after 18 years. It was definitely underpowered with more than 2 people or over half tank of fuel. My neighbor has a 2007, same model with the 250...

2520 MV and Suzuki 350 duo prop

Hello. I am Almost to my 20 hour break in service. Followed manual and master Yamaha mechanic who installed the engine, instructions for this maintenance interval. It has been without issue since I picked it up. I will add that the stock f225 was very weak for this boat. While it had acceptable...

2520 MV and Suzuki 350 duo prop

I don’t want to change the subject but thought this may be a good place to report on my 2520 SCXL with new F300 performance numbers. Are you interested for comparison? Thanks

On the first very brief wide open throttle, 5600 rpm yielded a...

    After 4 months….

Finally got my 2520XL back from dealer’s shop with new F300. Took nearly 4 months to gather up all the necessary cables, both control boxes, and other small accessories for completion. Believe it or not, the second station start/stop button was last item to come in to finish the job. What a chore….

    Battery Question

My response was not meant to be thought provoking or argumentative in nature. However since everyone’s scenario is different, a broad based assumption about our setup and boat mooring(trailer, in marina slip or at home at your own pier on a lift) has not been entered into your equation and...

    Battery Question

Mpellet, you explanation about a traditional 2 bank battery switch echos in my mind everytime I see a switch discussion. While my routine is only slightly different, it is basically the same. I am Just now replacing my two batteries installed in 2015 on my 2520. Prior to that the Deka batteries...
