    Transom crack?

I believe it is intended that the glass is ground out removing the defect and then built back up. I consulted a glass shop today to get recommendations on how best to correct the fault and keep it from happening again. One thing for sure, this is a common problem with these hulls, so putting it...

    Transom crack?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7fCDb ... sp=sharing This is what Parker sent me. Apparently this is a known problem. One wonders why they have not made any design changes to remedy this.

    Bilge Pump Hose

I installed new 1 1/4" SS thru hull fittings along with the new pumps. I added a second pump and thru hull on the starboard side, and moved the thru hull on the port side as high as I could. Bigger is better, Yes?

    Transom crack?

I have the same thing going on with my 21SE, Its in the post "21SE transom Problem" It seems this is a common problem with these boats. Brandon from Parker sent me a drawing on how to do the repair. I am thinking that a 1/2" x 3" wide aluminum flat bar bolted across the top of the transom on the...

    21SE Transom Problem

Looking over the problem, I appears that the engine was improperly installed. The mounting holes are drilled too high and it looks like they were over tightened, I think I am seeing some delamination. I intend on talking to the dealer where I bought the boat and motor in 1999, and also I think I...

    Bilge Pump Hose

Thanks, the pumps came with 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" fittings and I used the larger. At the time I used vacuum hose (as in swimming pool). While it is flexable, I decided I wanted to replace it with the proper hose.

    21SE Transom Problem

I just found this on my 1999 21SE. I have to say I am bummed big time. It looks like stress cracks to me. I need input on how to fix this. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7fCDb ... sp=sharing

    Bilge Pump Hose

I found 1 1/4" Shields 141 at PBS Boat Store. I had to buy a 50' roll, but it cost about the same as 15' of 1 1/8" from West Marine.

    Bilge Pump Hose

I now have 1 1/4" hose and fittings. The sizes offered are 1 1/8" and 1 1/2", Will I be ok with 1 1/2" ? Or perhaps I can get the 1 1/8" over the fittings? Also, do you know what size hose is used on the baitwell drain? (Parker 21SE) I want to change the thru-hull fitting to SS.

    Radar Tower Refresh

Last summer I had my leaning post re-powder coated. While I was researching the project I read that there was not much difference between powder coat and wet coat as far as how the finish holds up if prepped the same. The thing about powder coating is it does not use the solvents which pollute...

    Sealant for various installs

I know what you mean about silicone and the problems it causes if ever you need to refinish the area. The point I wanted to make was to isolate and seal off the wood. By making a plug of epoxy, and then having the screw set in this plug the wood is sealed off completely. Anytime I expose a wood...

    Replacement Batteries

I have a question for you Guys. Do you see anything wrong with using solder to make lug terminal connections instead of hammer crimp? What I have done in the past was to hold a terminal lug in a vice, or with vice grips. Then heat with a torch and partially fill with solder. I would then insert...

    Pricing help for a 2007 23se

$28K seems reasonable. Nice boat for sure. How many hours on the motor?

    Sealant for various installs

Here is another Idea. Drill a larger hole, say 5/16" for the screw. Then fill the hole with fast cure epoxy glue and allow it to set fully. Then drill a pilot hole for the screw in the epoxy and install your part. The idea is to seal the wood with epoxy. I also add a dab of silicone for extra...

Parker boats on the gulf coast

I also bought my 21SE from Redwing Boat Co. It is family owned and I was pleased with them.

    Parker 21SE from Houston

The boat originally had a box on each side with a hatch door on each. The problem with that was there was not enough room to slide an ice chest between them. Those boxes were removed. The floor was solid all the way to the front. The deck was a one off part. A mold was built from a sheet...

What do you think the range is on 2100 DVCC w/175 SWS Yamaha

I would guess the fuel tank is the same as my 21SE. 95 gal, I am running a 200 Evinrude. If memory serves me, I have around 300 miles on a full tank. I think you should be OK. If you have a gps you could make some shorter trial runs to check your fuel consumption. Bruce
