Thanks Steve! I did look on Boat Trader and did other general searches but there doesn't seem to be any 2006 1801's for sale out there! Appreciate the help though - and I may call Dare.

    Used Parker Pricing

Hello! I may be selling my 2006 1801CC with an aftermarket hard top. Factory installed Yamaha 115 4 Stroke. I have no idea what to ask for the boat - can anyone provide guidance on how to price a used boat? It is in very good condition with low hours - we use it 3-5 weekends a year at our...

    Battery Issues

Just had the same issue after installing a new battery. I had stacked my connections wrong...and the fuel gauge and running lights were not working. I also had some "flickering" on the display panels when the boat was turned off and it was sluggish to start after a night in the water. After...

    2007 1801CC - Battery issues

Thanks Kevin! It ends up that I was stacking some wires wrong. I was smart enough to take pictures of the terminals before I remove the old battery and went back and checked and indeed I had stacked wires on the wrong terminal. Everything working fine now. Thanks for the help guys.

    2007 1801CC - Battery issues

I installed a new battery (the depth of my mechanical and electrical skills so please be kind with your responses!) last week and since then I've noticed a couple of issues that may or may not be related: (1) fuel gauge no longer works, (2) nav lights dont work, (3) my display "flickers" even...

Battery, bilge and GPS issues. Are they related?

@ Dan...never worry about insulting someone when they are asking for free advice! I really appreciate all the advice guys...and will take some time this weekend to check out the battery and cables. Not sure messing with the breaker board is for me...but will ask around on that one. I know for...

    Parker Durability

My Parker just survived her first earthquake here in VA! Pretty cool! Now lets hope she handles that old gal Irene! Plan to pull her from the water in Peary, VA Thursday - good excuse to bring her to Richmond for a nice wash and wax. Good luck to all in the path of this thing.

    Bean bag chairs for 1801

Does anyone have any experience with those bean bag chairs for boats? Looks like Ocean Tamer and E-Sea Rider are top brands. Need a soft chair for my wife when we run the Chesppeake Bay in a chop with our 1801. Have also looked at the West Marine deck chairs. Just need something that is...

    T-Top question

Go with the hard top, definately! 5x7 is an appropriate size. Go to parkermarine.com site and click on owner photos. My boat is #26 (me driving and a couple crab pots in back) adn you can see the top really well. I get alot of compliments on it...and personally think it looks great! If in...

Sta Bil Question for Yamaha 115 Four Stroke

I just spent the last hour looking through old posts about this subject and it seems there are varied opinions that have been voiced...so didn't mean to reinvent the wheel! But I do appreciate your response...and any others for that matter. My tank is already full on non-ethanol fuel for the...

Sta Bil Question for Yamaha 115 Four Stroke

I have a Yamaha 115 Four Stroke on my Parker 1801. I only use Ethanol free gas in this engine. The engine just went over 100 hours and I have taken it in for the reccomended service. I plan to use the boat for 4-6 hours a month through the winter here in VA on the Chesapeake Bay and was...

Pics of my new 1801 Hard Top

Wow, thanks for the kind words guys! The cost of the top was $2200 with four rocket launchers. Not sure what a box addition would have run or how heavy the top is. The material for the actual top is extremely light, a 12x12 square seemed to be ounces when I handled it while looking at tops...

Pics of my new 1801 Hard Top

Thanks guys! I did not detect any difference in performance at all. I keep the boat on a lift...but when I have trailered it I did not notice any difference there either. And it's heaven when I'm out pulling the kids on tubes and they fall off and I have to just sit there and wait for them...
