Anyone have any advice on how to ease the pain of running chop on my 23 modified v. I’m running with 2000 225hp ox66 on a bracket. Currently there is no foil or tabs. I know these will definitely help but I won’t be able to get to that unlit I pull the boat at the end of the season. The boat is new to me so I’m just trying to figure out the smoothest way to run it. I’m boating in the Barnaget Bay and there is a lot of boat traffic so at times there is wake coming from all directions. Would shifting weight forward or aft help? Trimming up or down? I do slow down but then I can stay on plane. Or is the just the reality of the MV hull. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
