Hello, New to the site and a Parker owner. I purchased a 2015 Parker 2120 SC in October of 2015. A Parker has been my dream boat for many years. After it rains or I wash it I am getting a lot of water in the cabin. I can see the side windows on both sides have water leaking from them. I also am getting water in that small area behind the captains chair where the stereo speaker is and LED light. I do not thing its run off from the window. Between that spot and the floor (the floor is definitely from the windows) I can fill up two 16 oz. cups. So it is not just damp it is free standing water. I contacted the dealer a few weeks ago but I have not received any direction yet. They said they are on winter break and then last week at the NYC boat show. It is getting wrapped tomorrow so at this point it will not be able to be addressed. I hope this get resolved under warranty and I do not get the run around. Please advise if others have had this problem and what is done to resolve it. Thanks in advance. Otherwise I love the boat so far.

Sounds like you possibly might have the black aluminum insert that goes in the track missing? Can you post a picture ? I am on my second Parker and never had this problem

I will check when I get home. I do recall it being on the inside of the window. The dealer actually finally responded to me. He mentioned caulking them. Based on what I know and have read caulking is barely a temporary fix. If it works it will not for long and the glass seals/gaskets should be replaced. I will take a picture later.

The black pieces are in the track on both stationary windows. They are plastic on mine. I assume you mean on the inside of the windows. They snap in place. Both windows leak in the back bottom corners. Its not the frame. The water ends up in the aluminum track. I tested it tonight. I do not see anything glaring but it was getting dark but I see the water come from behind the glass. Doesn't take much water either. I just poured it on out of a cup.

I would not accept caulking. No way. I assume it's a brand new boat as its a 15. Contact Parker directly and get your problem documented for warranty. If it's coming in around the frame of the window then either the windows are defective or they were not bedded correctly at install. I would be pissed big time if the dealer told me they were going to caulk them. That's not very professional on their part and they should know better. Good luck!

I agree on the caulking. Yes its brand new. I am dropping it off there tomorrow. I see where it is leaking. I did email parker and they said to take it to my dealer. So I am on the record. It is leaking in the back lower corner. Its not the frame its through the window glass seal to frame. Both leak in the exact same spot. I see the water drip through when I poured water on it. I am going to tell them caulking the outside of the window is a temporary repair not permanent. The windows need to be removed, cleaned and reset. If they tell me different parker will get a email and call. I just spent a ton of money on my dream boat and I want it fixed right the first time. I will report back.

I understand your frustration. What dealer did you purchase from in NJ? In a nice way explain this to your dealer and just file a warranty claim with them. Parker will cover the dealer cost.

D & R Boats. I dropped it off this morning. The service guys come back tomorrow from break. So I will know something by the end of the week probably. I told them via an email that I will not accept a caulk job that they need to be removed and reset in a new gasket/sealant. I also stated if Parker directs them to just caulk them to contact me and I will contact Parker directly and tell them I will NOT accept a caulk job which will last a year at most. Spent way to much money to have some caulk smeared on the windows.

D & R hasn't had a chance yet to evaluate the boat yet so at this point they are doing the right thing as a dealer. Lets see how they attack the repair now. Hopefully Parker and D & R do the right thing. Stay tuned. Thanks all who responded.

Good luck Bob, I'm sure they will fix it for you. I had my 2120 for 8 seasons before I bumped up to the 2520xld.

My buddy just purchased a 2520XLD same time I purchased my 2120. He keeps it down your way. He purchased used in Long Island but it only had like 10 hours on it maybe less. The guy who bought it new could not handle it so he traded it in. This is my first Parker always wanted one. It was a spur of the moment decision. Saw it and bought it. I had a killer black fish season on it. No complaints so far except for this issue which seems to be rare. I saw some posts on older ones with windshield window leaks but not side windows.

Funny now I have the same leak in my port slider. I am going to have to pop out gaskets and re set glass in a fresh bead of black silicone after scraping all the old stuff off. With a good storm and wind I would get standing water in cabin. Hopefully it warms up next week so I can do it or wait another month after boat gets hauled for it's winter nap

Can you guys post any pictures of the area with the leaks, if possible, that would be helpful.

I have a 2005 2120. No window leaks. I’ve only owned it for three seasons. Who knows what happened to the original owner? I did have water coming in through one of the top penetrations. So this past winter I removed all hardware, cleaned or replaced with new, dug out the old caul and resealed it all. No leaks this season.

I tried to go bass fishing this morning but ocean was still a mess. Went back to dock and popped out gasket and aluminum splines. Spotted the problems right away, 2 spots where there wasn't a good bead of sealant which was causing the leak. I pried the glass from the frame and cleaned up old caulking and re-sealed, Tomorrow I will trim up oozed marine silicone and hopefully I will be good to go. I wasn't impressed how the whole window unit is assembled but the installer didn't put a good bead of silicone in 2 spots which led to my issue. This was not a fun job, had a lot of trouble popping glass out far enough due to extremely tight fit around aluminum frame.
