2120 vs 23 pilot house

I have a 2120 now thinking about upgrading to the 23 pilothouse. Is it worth it. How much of a difference in the ride can I expect. Are there any other upsides to updrading. Any feed back would be appreciated.

I often fish on a friend's 2320 when I am not fishing on my own 2520. The 2120 is only offered with a notched transom, while the 2320 usually has a fully enclosed transom with a bracket. The difference in roominess and security in a following sea is very noticeable.
