Hey Everyone,

I am going to be installing a stereo and add some deck lighting in the future, and wanted to know how hard it is to fish some cables through the rigging tube. Is it best to start from the transom and fish towards the console, or vice versa. Also, any tips for making the process easier are always appreciated. Boat is a 21se.

Thanks,

Bucktail

Remove the gas tank sending unit cover. Gently push (your choice) fish tape, piece of 1/4" copper or aluminum tubing, heavy guage (12 or so) single strand wire over top of fuel tank.

Remove floor "wiring boot" inside console. A little practice and the wire/tube will be laying right there for you. I like to use a piece of the flex conduit to help protect wiring.

Parker center consoles are the easiest boats ever made to wire.

Fishing Frank,

Went down to the boat yesterday and popped open the inspection plate. Yep,
definately a lot more then I thought would be in there to add some wiring. I am going to head down again next week, and work out a game plan on getting those wires installed and get some tunes on my boat.

Thanks,
