23SE with Trolling motor

hey all
I am trying to talk a buddy into a 23SE to use in tampa bay.. Barry likes to fish inshore and off, but my question - can a 23SE have a trolling motor?

Or is the only option trolling tabs?

I have a 2320SL and use a minn kota I-Pilot 80lb with a 72" shaft for freshwater Stripers works great.
