2520 xl or 2520XLD

I'm looking at purchasing a 2520XLD but the decals don't look correct. I am wondering if it's actually an XL or XLD? Any way to tell by the HIN#? Another question is the 300hp 4stroke adequate power for the boat? I had a 2520xl prior with a 4 stroke 250hp and it seemed under powered?
Any help would be much appreciated

I don’t know how to tell by the HIN however if it has two strakes in the front for a deep V. Mod V would only have one strake. The first pic is a deep v with 2 strakes the 2nd pic is a mod v.
