2001 Parker Boat 28' long with twin 250 Yamaha 2 Strokes 2001 models as well. 2009 Aluminum Tandem-axel trailer with torsion axels. It comes with the electronics. I am listing this for the owner who is an older fellow. He has used it to fish off shore during the summers and has not been used much. He's asking $37,500 for the whole rig and has the paper work in hand. Call me if you are interested in taking a look at it. 252-333-8409

Hey guys, I havn't had too much interest in the boat. Can anyone tell me what a package like this typically sells for? Thanks in advance.

Is this a 2801 or a 2501.You say it is 28ft long ,is that the hull or does that include the motor.?

Not sure what a fair price is for that boat, but if you break it out the trailer is worth around $2500, the engines are around $5000 each, T-top and outriggers $1500, Electronics (If older than 3yrs) $1000 max depending on the large Garmin model. That leaves the boat at an asking price of $23,500. This is not too far off of the online values of the hull (~$22,000). The challenge is whether someone wants to invest that much in 12 yr old motors. I am thinking the boat is sellable around $30,000. Anyone else got any ideas? I would love to have a big Parker, but selling my 21se will not get me close enough to sell the idea to my wife.

Those OX66 motors are bulletproof.

1997 model year was the first year for the injected 225 OX66 (I have one on my boat).
I'm guessing the 250's came out the same year.
2001 motors... definitely FI.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I don't know how many hours are on the motors and I doubt that the owner does either. The owner did say that he bought it from Morehead City NC and it was used as a boat show model and kept in dry storage until he bought it in 2009. I do know he has only used it the past three summers to fish offshore out of Hatteras and it sits in my dads yard the rest of the year. If someone was interested in buying I'm sure he wouldn't mind you having your's or a local mechanic go through the motors to verify their condition. Anyways, thanks again for the replies and let me know if you have any other questions or comments. And if you want to set up a time to check it out you can call anytime 252-333-8409. Thanks!

I doubt it man, he's really looking to get rid of the whole rig.

Hey guys, I found out the hours on the motors this afternoon. The left gauge reads 306 hrs & the right gauge reads 340 hrs.

Guys,
I didn't realize the 28 CC was built before the last couple years.
Are you sure the LOA isn't 28' with Bracket?
I have a 2501 MV and the size looks exactly the same.

The 2801 was built in 2001. I own one as well. Defiantly not the same as the 25. I have owned both and the 28 is a beast. Most were powered with the 250 Yamaha 2 strokes. Mine had a bad fuel tank and was sent back to parker to replace in 04 and was re-powered at that time with four strokes. They stopped making the 2801 for a couple years and have now resumed production. I know this boat as well and has had very little use. Will make someone a great ride!

hi, do you or maybe anyone else have an idea what the fuel burn is with the twin 250's? thanks
