Adding A Foot Rest

Have a 21SE with two pedestal seats mounted on the live well. When you sit in the chairs your feet just dangle in the air. No place to rest your feet. Has anyone attempted to install a foot rest.

I do not have any idea regarding the Foot rest. I think there may be any solution for the foot rest as well. I think you must take advice from the Boat maintenance authority.
