Hello,

I have a S1000 AP and it has preformed pretty well for me over the years. I recently had a Garmin 700 GPS installed at a dealer, since then my AP is acting up or not working. When I activate the “pilot’ button it goes back into “standby” and it has done over the last 2 trips. I have checked power and ground sources, all NEMA1083 key sentences are correct. I turned off the GPS and activated Pilot and immediately gave the message NO GPS, so I believe the are networked together. Also when it randomly drops out of AP there is no buzzer that sounds.

Any thoughts??

Have you replaced the battery's in your s100 remote lately? They are small triple a and usually don't last long.

found the problem, it appears that my new garmin was wired the same as the last garmin, which put me on port 1 and 2, made the corrections this weekend, sea trail AP works fine
