Autopilot Install

Has anyone installed an autopilot on their boat? My new boat has twin Yamaha 225 Four Strokes with Sea Star steering.
I am looking at the Garmin System. Any input on doing the install yourself would be much appreciated.

I installed the garmin on my boat .. I have twin 115s very simple to do as long as your are mechanical, I purchased mine with BOE amd had shipyard island marine make me the hoses.. Its a very straight forward install , Make sure you soilder everything and read instructions well before you start and you'll be fine.

Installed the Raymarine S1000 on my 2320 and really like it. Wired to my Garmin 4208 & got it from Jim at BOE. Easy to install & does what I want it to do for less $$$$ ($890. shipped)

What Garmin autopilot did you buy "model"
I have a the Garmin 2006C it works very well
I was wondering what unit would work well with it
I have a single 200hpdi
