Boat Capacity Plate - Where to get one?

Hi,
Just purchased my 96 18 CC Commercial Notch this fall but did not come with a Boat Capacity Plate.
I called Parker and they will not issue one due to liability reasons. I don't quite understand that but so be it. :roll:
How do I get one?

The better question is.....Why do you care if you have one?

I've had several boats that didn't have one. I also bumped the HP up a little on those. BUT....They were modified and built stronger than original.

Not all boats require a capacity plate.

Pretty sure that for commercial use, or a boat in use by a public safety organization (police, fire, ect) are exempt.
