Recently bought 1801 2014 leftover. Other than putting in water is there any way to establish a water line ?

Take some pics / measure another boat of the same model and transfer to your hull.

Some people will launch the boat with full fuel and let it sit in calm water for a few days to get a visible scum line.
Pull the boat and mark 1" above the scum line with painters tape.
Once you are pleased with your line, prepare the bottom for paint by sanding and solvent washing.

Remember that every last spec of mold release agent must be removed before paint, so if you are not able to do that, having your dealer prep and paint might be a better solution.
The dealer should know exactly where the paint line should be, but discuss it with them first to be certain.
Once it's done, it's done.

And Parkers do NOT need an epoxy barrier coat, but since I advise a permanent epoxy-based paint in a DIFFERENT color should be put on the hull 1st, using the gray barrier coat accomplishes both at once while providing added protection.

Then paint the hull w/ color-paint of choice, like black ablative anti-fouling paint. First year w/ new AF paint should be 2 coats.

Then if/when you see any 'gray', you know the AF paint is 'thin' in that area.

As a new member thanks to all for your response. Most bottom finishers require 50 to 70 temps for safe application. I will probably pull boat May/June to paint bottom.
