Does anyone else's cabin sole go down in the port and starboard aft corners like mine? (see pic)

Trying to figure out if there is a reason parker did this or if it was just to make my cabinet building a PITA.... Also kind of makes the drain just inside the door useless.....

The cabin sole in my rig is hard as a rock... considering cutting it up just to fix this....

thanks for any input.

My 96 has a crown in the floor to allow water to drain to the limber holes which drain to the bilge (which yours does not seem to have).
That is why it is not flat. If it were, water would not drain.

Thanks. I can't decide if I should add a drain there when I remove the deck or just leave it alone..... I intend to put a cabinet there so it should stop any water from entering that area anyway.
