Thinking of a trip to the CBBT area after the holidays. I would prefer to do some light tackle fishing, not trolling. There will only be two of us so we'll need a small boat. I am hoping someone who is familiar with that area has a suggestion as to guides. Thanks.

There are a number of guides that migrate to the CBBT this time of year, but I don't know how many made the trip this year.

I have seen Capt 'Walleye' Pete down there at the same time I was fishing the CBBT.

Not sure if our own Capt John Deering charters the winter season, but he is always a great guide.

Also check the Tidalfish 'Original Board' for recommendations.

Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully, I can get something scheduled.

Here is one more for you.
I have chartered with Capt Skip at the CBBT in the past and we caught lots of fish.
He is one of the local Captains who migrates to Kipto this time each year.

Wait, people fish for striper in the bay who are NOT trolling 45 tuna-weight rods off of planer boards??? :D
