Am in the process of the DREADED fuel fill/vent hose replacement. 1996 2520MVSC. Think they are the original hoses and look a bit dried from the outside. I know I need 1 1/2" fuel fill and 5/8" vent. Only see the fill hose available as A2 rating in the 1 1/2" size, but can get the vent hose A1-15. The only hose that seems to make the bend coming up easier within the channel is the Trident 329 corrugated. The Trident vent hose has a wire coil within same as the 329.

Also see the Shields 350 and 355 hoses available but not corrugated and don't know if it will make the bend required. Of course the Trident is rather expensive but if it keeps the knuckle bleeding down on replacement may be worth it. But wanted to see what others have used with success.

Found great information on the procedure here, just don't know the best choice for the job before proceeding. Thanks in advance for any help with this replacement, as I am not looking forward to doing it and will be glad when it is done!

You want this. https://www.westmarine.com/buy/shields- ... ecordNum=1

But don't buy it there...That was just for show.

Do you have a specialty rubber shop in your town?

It's normally between $11& $12ft.

Thanks warthog5 for the information. So Sheilds 355 fuel fill hose will be the replacement. Don't have a specialty hose shop in our small town. Thanks again-Jim
