I have a 06(APRIL) 2120dvsc. After refueling and not overfilling the tank; pressure builds up in the tank on warm days and fuel is forced out through the vent. What is my problem? I try not to over fill the tank and stop when I hear the fuel start making a girgleing sound at the vent. The first fueling I filled it till gas was spewing from the vent. I stopped that but whats up? I heard something about a recall regaurding the fueling system. Please help.

thanks
ej

Fuel vapors intensify during hot weather and that the intensified vapors can cause dribbling at the vent, which is completely normal. There are no recalls.

There may be a little dip in the vent line that trapped gas from when you over filled it and that is what is spurting out when it gets warm out.

A few people on here have shortened the vent line a little to remedy this.
