Fuel Problem

I have a 2001 2510. Over the past few months when running I have a raw gas smell in the cockpit, no smell in the cabin or out on deck. No smell when just ideling or at the dock. I first thought it was an overfill problem, but now I still get the fuel smell after using over 100 gal of gas. Have checked all the plates over the gas tank and in the cabin and no smell. Any ideas of what I should check next, need to fix the problem.

Thanks

Fuel line to the motor, vent line and/or fill hose.

Ethanol probably ate one.

Thanks, should have mentioned that there has never been any Ethanol gas used.

You may also have a pinhole leak in your tank. What you describe are the symptoms my father and I had when an aluminum tank on our old Grady White started to go. Check what Bryan suggests first...

Thanks for the help. It was the fuel fill line. Got it fixed and now ready to run for Grouper Wed. weather permitting.

Same issue on recently purchased 2005 2510 I will be replacing all hoses this weekend
Thanks great info
