Fished Hatteras Village Cobia Shootout May 7-21. Tournament ran until June 18th. Buddy and I had a blast! We went down just to cobia fish and noticed a flyer at tackle shop for a cheap $50/angler entry... thought what the heck!
Ended up leaving town in second place biggest fish overall with a 74lb (weigh in called it 73.5 :evil: ) and took first place in aggregate 3 fish weight at 203.5lb! Incredible experience for a first tourney. Great locals... a little grumpy that the VA boys came and cleaned up but thats expected! ha

Other notable catches.. 66lb, 64lb, buddy's nice release citation. Caught and released plenty of fish and filled the freezers with the tourney fish.
