Silly I know but does gets uncomfortable on long runs. The fore/aft slide on the my captains chair has broken twice now (the nylon/plastic sleve has cracked/broken/fallen out). This causes the seat to wobble in any position. Parker has replaced the nylon piece for me already, I managed to piece the second one together for 1/2 the season but now I have had enough & it's time for a change.

Looking to replace the slide, can anyone recommend the Garelick or another product?

I have no experience with that particular slide, but Garelick makes a lot of good marine hardware which is used as OEM on a lot of boats.
I would think that product would be a good bet as a replacement, as it looks like it would fit the seat. Not sure about the post though.
A bit of fabrication might be nescessary.

I replaced mine 7 years ago when I got the boat with the parts from Parker but greased the new ones heavily and haven't had a problem since.

I used the slide a lot too.
