I have a replacement actuator for my starboard Lenco trimtab that I'd like to install. How on earth do you fish the end of the cable through the hull and through the wiring run to where the existing connector is? It looks like it runs through a very tight space with no room for hands or tools.

I'm guessing that you perhaps attach cord to the old cable and pull it all out from outside the boat. Then you can use the cord to pull the new cable in? But that's just my guess and I would certainly want to be sure before trying it.

Appreciate any and all insights.

That is pretty much how it is done.
You can also attach the new cable to the old and use the old to pull in the new.
